Joanna Ratajczak

Joanna Ratajczak got a Journalism Master from the University in Poznan, Poland and is fluent in German, English and Polish. She is the presenter of the award-winning Latin Jazz show on Belin radio station JazzRadio. The show is sponsored the he Brazilian Embassy in Berlin.

The Program is broadcasted from 12 noon - 6 pm (CET) on Saturday afternoons, and showcases the best Latin jazz from around the world.

In 2005, JazzRio! won the World Bronze Medal for “Best Music Program” at the New York International Radio Awards, placing it in the top three music shows on radio worldwide. JazzRadio! broadcasts in Berlin on 101.9 FM and online at www.jazzradio.net.

Joanna has been a presenter and Deejane for JazzRadio since 2005. JazzRadio General Manager Julian Allitt says: ”We asked Joanna to present JazzRio! because of her cool presentation style and her love of the music. She goes beyond the music to the artists themselves and shares with her listeners a real feeling for each track – where it comes from, what it really is about.”
